IPS Board
The Board of the Institute for Peace Studies was elected by the General Assembly of the Suzanne Mubarak Women' s International Peace Movement on January 9, 2007 in Alexandria.
The board' s first meeting was held on the 10th of January, 2007 in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and is scheduled to meet twice a year.
The board members elected H.E. Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak as President of the Board and Dr. Ismail Serageldin as Vice President and Treasurer, and confirmed the appointment of Ambassador Aly Maher El Sayed as Director of the Institute.
The board meeting reviews the planned activities and discusses IPS work strategy, the yearly budget and financial statement.
